About Us

PTSA stands for Parent Teacher Student Association. PTSA is a volunteer association where parents, educators, students, and other citizens can be active in their schools and communities.

Driven by passion

Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

The East High School PTSA is focused on Initiatives that support our students, teachers, families, and community. Our work is done in coordination with Principal Walker and her staff. Areas of focus include New Families, Student Support, Teacher Support, and Wellness.

Making the most of your experience at East High School means getting involved, making friends, and connecting with the larger community. For students, that might involve joining a team or club, cheering on our Angels at games, or participating in student government, yearbook or the school newspaper. For families, that might mean volunteering your time and ideas, joining and getting involved through the East PTSA, or attending any of the events or shows at East. There’s something for everyone at East, so get involved!

Big ideas, real impact.

By joining the East PTSA, your voice makes a real impact on the lives of our students and our educators. From Teacher Appreciation Week to Student Organization funding and more, our membership is critical to the success and growth of our community.

The best part is that anyone can join and it’s only $10!
