• Allison Parkins - President

A Colorado native born and raised in central Denver, Allison has deep roots at East High School—several family members are proud East alumni, including her son who graduated in 2022. With a freshman currently walking the halls, she's as invested as ever in the East community.

By day, Allison works as a paralegal at a nonprofit law firm serving low-income individuals and seniors. As Vice President, she brings that same commitment to service to the PTSA, focusing on the health, wellness, and safety of students, families, and teachers, with a particular dedication to supporting underprivileged students and families. She believes that getting involved is the highway to manifestation—and she's putting that belief into action every day.

  • Scott Pepple - Vice-President

Hello, My Name is Scott Pepple, I'm a parent of 3 kids, 2 recent East Graduates (2025 and 2026) and, hopefully, another one coming in 2028. I was born and raised in the Midwest and found my way to Colorado in the Nineties with the help of the US Army. The amount of open space, the nice weather and marriage to a Coloradan convinced me to stay and raise a family here.

I'm in PTSA because our children are the future and schools are how they get there. Working to improve the ride helps everyone in the long run.

    Romi Howell - Treasurer

Hello! I am a Colorado native. Born in Colorado Springs, grew up in Woodland Park, and attended the University of Northern Colorado (go Bears!). I have been a resident of Denver since 2007 and live in Park Hill with my husband and daughter, who is a Freshman at East. It has been awesome to watch her flourish and grow at East. My goal is to be a positive, helpful contributor to the school through my role on the East PTSA. In my former life (much former), I was an elementary school teacher for 6 years. However, for the past 13 years, I have enjoyed working in the accounting department of a real estate investment firm. My current role is Treasury and Investor Relations. When not working, I love exploring different types of food, traveling, skiing, and spending time with the wonderful family and friends in my life.

  • John Wilkinson - Secretary

Howdy! I am a Texas transplant to Denver having moved from Austin where my family and I lived for over 20 years. We have been coming to Colorado for nearly the same amount of time and decided this will be our forever home.

By day, I am an Associate Broker at REMAX of Cherry Creek and love talking real estate strategy & investments to anyone interested. My husband and I have a Sophomore at East who loves to ski and explore the mountains. We love discovering new places to hike, eat and meeting new people.
