Volunteer
PTSA stands for Parent Teacher Student Association. PTSA is a volunteer association where parents, educators, students, and other citizens can be active in their schools and communities.
Get Involved
Volunteering at East High School is like joining a neighborhood superhero squad — whether you’re whipping up smiles at Teacher Appreciation, hauling books and dust-busting in the library, gaining new business sponsors through Community Outreach, or pitching in at events, there’s a fit for every schedule and skill set.
The East PTSA exists to support our students and teachers, empower families, and strengthen the connection between home and school. This year, our board is especially focused on:
The health, wellness, and safety of our students, families, and teachers
Supporting underprivileged students and families at East
Funding clubs and student initiatives through PTSA grants (equipment, field trips, and launching new clubs)
Building a stronger, more connected East community — for every family, not just a few
What ideas do you have? Complete the survey at the end of this email and tell us what you'd like to see!

Big ideas, real impact.
By joining the East PTSA, your voice makes a real impact on the lives of our students and our educators. From Teacher Appreciation Week to Student Organization funding and more, our membership is critical to the success and growth of our community.
The best part is that anyone can join and it’s only $10!
